A mouth watering delight with beet sliders!



Beets are a wonderful ingredient when it comes to rich flavored food, which is filled with taste and freshness. Beets are rich in phytonutrients, they provide anti inflammatory, de toxification effects to the body. With such wonderful features, imagine a delicate and mouth watering dish that is made up of beets. Thus giving your body all the essential needs as well as wonderful flavors your mouth will love to taste. Beet sliders are one such recipe that is something you will surely love to eat. They can always be used as a healthy and tasty substitute for steak or burgers.


This recipe of tasty sandwiches is not only meant for vegetarians. You can easily make one set of beet slider at your home within minutes, for this all you will need fresh buns, one beet, onion, bell pepper, and salt according to taste. To make, you first need to boil the beet for 30 minutes and then place it in a bowl of ice and water. After this you have to peel and then cut down beet in half inch slices. Next step is to heat these slices on a pan by applying olive oil and later spreading cumin, salt and pepper. Let it caramelize for a while, and then allow it to cool. You can spread cilantro spicy mayo sauce (for this mix 3 tsp mayonnaise, cilantro, salt, lemon juice, and half tsp of ground cayenne pepper) over the buns, add beet slices, and later add spring onions and lettuce as per you choice. Enjoy the juicy meal blended with health and freshness.
